Once you have received your Profiling kit please follow these simple instructions:

1. Ensure animal is safely
restrained and remove hair
collectors from packaging.
|
|
|
2. It is essential to find
a clean part of the tail
to take samples from.
|
|
|
3. Grip 20-30 tail hairs and pull
up towards the tail head....
|
|
|
4. ....alternatively use a pair of
long nosed pliers to remove
hairs.
|
|
|
5. If successful, it will be
possible to see hair follicles
with the naked eye.
|
|
|
6. Roll the hair sample, lift the
cellophane cover and insert
with hair roots inside.
|
|
|
7. Complete the sample
information on the front
of the hair collector card.
|
|
|
8. Trim off any excess hair
from the side of the hair
collector.
|
